The F833 Constant Pressure Delivery Valve is a precision component used in mechanical diesel fuel injection pumps to control residual pressure in the high-pressure fuel line after injection. It helps limit fuel backflow and supports consistent pressure conditions for the next injection cycle. F833 is commonly listed for P-type and PS7100 injection pump applications, including Longbeng pump systems.
Because delivery-valve dimensions and pressure characteristics vary between pump models, compatibility should be confirmed using the original F833 number, injection-pump model and complete pump specification before installation.
Function in the Injection Pump
During the injection cycle, the delivery valve opens to allow high-pressure fuel to flow toward the injector. After delivery, it helps maintain the required residual pressure in the high-pressure line and assists in quickly stopping fuel delivery. This contributes to more stable injection timing and reduces unwanted fuel-line pressure fluctuations.
Replacement & Service
A worn delivery valve may contribute to unstable injection, fuel leakage or backflow, difficult starting, uneven engine operation and inconsistent fuel delivery. F833 can be used during injection-pump overhaul when the original valve no longer maintains the required sealing and pressure-control characteristics.
For best results, inspect the delivery valve seat, spring, holder and mating pump components during rebuilding, and test the completed injection pump after installation.
